My name is Joe Tropea and I'm the Owner of South Jersey DJ's.  I started the business back in 1988 and originally we used turntables and vinyl albums.  Fast forward to the 1990's and everything transitioned to CD's.  Today, South Jersey DJ's is proud to have over 180,000 songs on laptop computers available and we handle all different types of parties and events including Weddings, Corporate Events, Birthday and Graduation Parties, Holiday Events and much more.  

We have all different types of music including Big Band, 50's and 60's, Motown, Disco, 80's, 90's 2000's, Country, Hip Hop and MANY MORE!  Brides and Grooms....be as active in the music selection process as you want with South Jersey DJ's.  

The simple answer to this question is EXPERIENCE.  South Jersey DJ's has been serving the Tri-State area since 1988.  We take great pride in our abilities, beginning at consulting with you,  regarding your event.  We want to make sure that your vision and expectations are met for your special event whether it's a Smaller Birthday Party or a Grand Wedding Reception.  

Being organized and getting you the proper paperwork in a timely manner is to be expected.  Following up before the event and reviewing this information is very important.   We want to make sure there are no last minute changes or additions that we should be aware of.  

Having reliable equipment is imperative, computers are not without flaws.  South Jersey DJ's always has a backup system ready to use.    We use professional equipment by companies like Denon, Numark. Turbosound, QSC and more.  Our software is supplied by Virtual DJ and is the industry standard.  

Lastly, we have experience working with many catering halls, videographers, photographers and wedding planners.  We will make sure to collaborate with your other professionals to assure your event goes smoothly.
